We have a very small herd, always. We use organic processes because a lot of our stock goes in our family freezer. We practice rigorous biosecurity. We use the FAMACHA system for testing for parasites. We rotational graze to inhibit parasite infestation. We only use natural care and organic processes. We provide minerals and untreated hay and we only use feed with a coccidiostat when babies are very young. We have been lucky and have a very healthy, small herd.
